For the last several years, the topic of a morning routine has been on everyone’s mind. People have been influencing you to do as much as you can in the morning, get up at 5:00am, make your green juice, go to the gym, take a workout class, and try to fit in an hours’ worth of stuff in what was supposed to be a simple morning routine.

 

But luckily, many people, like myself, are moving beyond this concept and embracing the beauty in a gentle, calm, slow morning routine. It is not a lazy one, but rather one where you allow yourself time to gradually get up, go through your habits at your own pace, and simplify your routine to just a few of the most important habits you have.

 

The question then becomes when is it time for a slow morning routine? And that’s what today’s show is all about, looking at the signs that may indicate that you are in need of slowing down your mornings.
